31 Hours

Just in case you were wondering how our cross-country move went... here ya go!

Monday: We set out to Denver. Spent the night with Mandy and Paul (Brad's sister and her husband).

Tuesday: Hung out with Mandy and Paul again. Also, Brad's awesome mom and sister Kate showed up as a last minute addition to our cross-country caravan (bringing our mattress and kitchen chairs with them - so happy we didn't have to replace those!!). Mandy (who is also awesome) decided to come along for the rest of the drive (and it was so nice to have an extra driver during those times when I just needed a break).

Wednesday: Completed the longest stretch of our drive... I'm pretty sure we made it to St. Louis and spent the night in a nasty hotel (there were blood stains on the blankets and a foot print on a pillow... you better believe we complained and got a nice discount).

Thursday: Arrived in hot and humid Columbus Ohio. After trying to navigate our way through the crazy and unexpected construction we finally made it to our cute town house and officially became Ohio residents.

Glad you made it safely! The St. Louis hotel you speak of makes me wanna hurl though. And yay for getting to keep your mattress! That's pretty awesome. :)

Yay! Glad you made it. That's a lot of people you got to have on your move. The most I had was one on one of my moves. But nothing beats my awesome brother on a cross country move! Except, perhaps, your awesome family.

That motel gives me shivers. Ick!

So sad... but great for you guys! And that's a nasty sounding hotel. I kind of just threw up in my mouth.
But love you!! And love your little place! Especially with the camp chairs :) heh heh

I'm glad you made it - and that you got to keep your mattress! How nice that you had last-minute company too, I'm sure that was very nice!

Yes, all of our helpers were super awesome. And I have to say, we're looking pretty good in those pictures. I'm impressed. :)
