New Year's Resolution

One of my New Year's Resolution's this year is to make 50-80% of the gifts that Brad and I give. Well, we have to go to a wedding reception tomorrow and here is one of my very first homemade gifts this year. I absolutely adore it. I originally planned on making kitchen towels like this but when I was going through my fabric stash, I decided I wanted to applique something instead (I LOVE appliqueing). And thus, the love birds flour sack towels were born.

Super Cute! I think that is a great idea to make gifts to give away. I always have a hard time thinking of creative things that i think other people will like. You should make an idea blog---where you just have tons of pics in different categories that I can go through to find my inspiration. HA HA HA. yeah, just get on that for me okay. jk. Anyhow, I love how creative and fun you are! you are an inspiration!
