And the road trip begins...

On Monday, we headed out (minus Jordan, he left the day before) to Amish Country... not much happened there besides an awesome lunch (including amazing pie) at Der Dutchmen. Yum....

Then we made our way to Kirtland. We took a tour of the temple... side note about that. They said throughout the tour to not take pictures inside the temple but some old lady kept on taking 'em (ok... she took like 2) and the guide kept on having to reprimand...er remind her of the rule. Only something an old lady could get away with, amiright?

Showing off the lovely stickers they made us wear for the tour.

We also saw the N.K. Whitney store. Pretty neat.

Tuesday we saw Lake Erie (for like 2 seconds) and then we went to Niagara Falls. And guess what? We totally rode the Maid of the Mist boat. It was awesome. Also, the falls are really, really windy. On our way out from Niagara, we dropped off Kelli in Buffalo. :(

Afters, we went to Palmyra and caught the last tour of the day at the Smith farm and Sacred Grove.

Like how ticked I look (I wasn't looking at Brad, btw... I'm looking beyond him)? And how sheepish Brad looks? Well... funny story... the sister missionary might have had a little wee thing for my husband. We both noticed. It was kinda awkward.

If you zoom in closer you can better understand what I was feeling at the time... :)

Wednesday, we did more Sacred Grove viewing, saw the Palmyra temple, went on the Grandin Print shop tour, and went to the Hill Cumorah.

We also made our way to the Peter Whitmer farm.

Then onwards we went to State College, PA (to hang out at Brad's uncles house).

Thursday we hung out. I don't really remember what happened this day, I'll be honest. We may have gone to some cave's gift shop, more Amish country, and the park.

Friday we went to a yummers bbq restaurant. After that Brad and I headed back to Ohio while his parents and sister hung out for one more day in PA.

Waiting for our food.

They made it back to our place Saturday... and then left Sunday.

It sure was fun to have visitors and to tag along on their vacation. Thanks for everything Mom and Dad Prestwich!!

Ah! Did you see the Work Crew while you were at the Hill--because one of them was my brother!! Don't you just love these Church History sites? I miss them.

That sister missionary? Wrong on so many levels. I like the red laser beam glare.

Wow! You got to see so many amazing things. What a great trip!

I'm gonna want to hear the details of this sister and her having a wee thing for Brad! I feel awkward for you... did she not notice that you 2 are married?? And even if he were single... hello! She's a missionary. duh.
