Everytime I turn around...

With the spare time that comes from being unemployed, I've spent some time reviewing the gems of sitcom TV from my past. Super awesome (and a little bit lame) right?! And what's even awesomer is that I'm going to share some of these gems with you... sorry, no Full House (which I totally loved) or Who's the Boss, or Family Matters. You can look those ones up yourselves.

Small Wonder- I didn't remember much about this series except that my older brother at one point used to call me small wonder and that the show was about a little girl robot named Vicki.

Today's Special - I don't think this really counts as a sitcom as it is a children's show but it is still from my past and pretty awesome. Also, I couldn't find a lot of episodes on youtube but here is the opening theme song.

Punky Brewster - Punky gets abandoned by her mother and an old guy adopts her (sounds kinda sad and creepy when put like that...). I wanted to be like Punky growing up - probably because in part she reminded me of my older sister, Jeanette.

Ghostwriter - This show used to be one of my favorites. Seriously. Teenagers solved mysteries and crimes with the help of Ghostwriter (a ghost... who, get this, writes! Of all the crazy things...)

Well, there you have it. Some of the TV sitcoms of years past. They just don't make TV shows like they used to. What TV shows did you watch growing up?

Honorable mentions: Blossom, Mr. Belvedere, Saved by the Bell, The Golden Girls (you bet I watched this show. all. the. time.), Fresh Prince, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and Step by Step.

You're welcome.

I didn't watch the ones you've mentioned. I'm a little older, so the ones I remember watching are:
Six Million Dollar Man
Bionic Woman
Cosby Show
Family Ties
The Greatest American Hero
Alias Smith & Jones
Heart to Heart
Remington Steele

Those are ones that immediately come to mind.

Also watched after school:
Looney Tunes Cartoons
Batman
Gilligan's Island
I Dream of Jeanie
Brady Bunch
Andy Griffith Show
Bewitched

Yeeesssss. Ghostwriter was our favorite. I remember putting string around pens to wear around my neck. Because that's the coolest thing ever.
love it!

Oh gosh...It's probably best we do not live near one another or else I would invite you over for marathons constantly! I watched all those shows and have actually enjoyed Small Wonder via NetFlix recently. Today's Special was one of my favorites--especially the episode where Muffy finds the special plaque in her wall which saves the building! That and Zoobily Zoo were my morning routine along with breakfast. :)

You found some gems! I have forgotten about these, but remember watching them some. I didn't watch a lot of TV growing up, so I don't remember a lot.

Ahh! Ghostwriter. I loved it, too. My favorite episode was when Ghostwriter traveled to the past. Currently, I am re-watching all of the Boy Meets World episodes.

I used to love Ghost Writer! I liked Punky Brewster, too. My grandpa always called me Punky Brewster and I never really knew why, until I saw the show. Haha.
