Sometime last week (Thursday maybe?) Brad and I had the opportunity to go to the Columbus Zoo (for FREEEEE). It was pretty fun.
The photographic highlights:
Polar bear excrement (gross ey? It was a complete random happenstance that she started defecating while my shot was being taken... but I guess I shouldn't have been too surprised since she pooped several times in the 10ish minutes we were there [it happened pretty much whenever she tried to catch a fish])
Brad loves manatees (I love that he'll pose however I tell him too -- I love that guy)
Bats just hanging out and doing their bat thing

Brad's on an alligator/crocodile/animal statue (looks real, huh?)
And because I don't want you to remember the polar bear as a pooping machine, here is a better portrayal of how cute she was. She kept on playing a game where she would try to get a piece of bone through that metal loop. She was very persistent and got the bone through a couple of times while we were there. So cute.

1. Those bats look huge! I hope it's because you had zoomed it.
2. The polar bear is hilarious. Either she was trying to make room while she was eating, or she got very excited every time she almost caught a fish. It makes me laugh, though. Thanks!
