So, ya know how Brad and I are moving to Ohio in July? Well, we pretty much decided that we are only going to take what fits in our 2 cars. That means no more super comfy bed or cute kitchen chairs. No more laminate kitchen table or pastel yellow love seat. No more Target-gift-card-bought bookshelves or hand-me-down drawers.
Despite the sadness of getting rid of our awesome bed (which both Brad and I are HIGHLY attached to) and kitchen chairs and having absolutely no furniture once we get to Ohio, I'm pretty excited. If I'm patient and thrifty, I might just get furniture I actually love instead of hand-me-downs (which are/were highly appreciated). I've already scoped out where the local thrift stores are in Columbus and have checked out their craigslist. I might be jumping the gun since we have some time left in Utah but I just can't wait to get started!

My goal is to get to one car load of belongings. But this move shows me I'm still at 4 carloads and one truck of furniture. But...my books! And the sewing projects I'm working on. And.... Yeah. I have another purge of stuff coming up when I finally settle in the new place. Good luck and Go You! (I totally understand about being attached to a bed!)
