Squatters?

On Monday Brad and I (with the help of our awesome family) moved all of our furniture and some of our belongings to Murray... but we stayed in our Provo apartment for a few more days (until Friday)... living like squatters.

Seriously, this is what we slept on (a feather-bed on the floor).

And sat on.

And where we put the remainder of our unpacked belongings.

I promise we aren't this messy in real life.

Friday was my last day in Provo. I've got major mixed feelings (still). On the one hand, I get to sleep in my awesome bed from now on and be closer to my wonderful family. Plus, I'll have an awesome full-time job. But then I won't get to see these mountains as much anymore.

Squaw Peak. Taken on my last morning in Provo.

Or be near friends and have enough time to craft to my hearts content.

Although change is hard, it is still good. Overall, I'm pretty excited about things and can't wait to start my job tomorrow!

Good luck tomorrow! I will have to get your new address because I still have a card for you sitting on my kitchen table. I know. I'm a slacker.

I had to remind myself not to look for you at church today. I missed you. Hope you are getting settled in and getting used to living with the parents. Good luck with your job!

Squaw Peak was my favorite mountain to look at there. And your last days in Provo looked like my 1st 3 weeks in VA. I didn't own any furniture and I waited until my parents sent me some (including a bed and a chair). It was rather humorous and I would have been fine like that. But I'm so attached to my bed now....

Enjoy being near family! And enjoy Murray (birthplace of my Mum--it has to be great!). At least you know those mountains are just a short drive away.
