I haven't felt like blogging much, so I haven't. But I am kinda somewhat almost in the mood so I thought I'd better go ahead and post.
September has been a pretty good month so far. I helped plan a surprise birthday party for my wonderful sister Jeanette. I was in charge of decorations and the cake (I made cake balls... so good). It turned out great and Jeanette was completely surprised. Here are a few of the decorations I made:
The table center pieces (tutorial HERE).
Speaking of Jeanette's birthday, I made her a ruffle pillow out of a t-shirt, that inspired this tutorial on Floralshowers. The awesome part? It has been our biggest traffic booster. I'm pretty proud of it.
Brad's birthday was also this month. It was pretty low-key because he had class all day. But once he was done we headed to Carl's Jr (that's what he wanted for his birthday dinner... probably because I never want to go there normally) and then we went and saw Star Trek. It was a fun night. Plus, he also got some amazing cake balls (dark chocolate cake dipped in semi-sweet chocolate... mmmm) and some awesome presents.
This month we've also (finally) started working on our new kitchen chairs (that we got from the DI months ago or what seems like months ago). We haven't gotten very far but at least we've started. I'm pretty excited.
BYU football also started this month, which has kept me busy at work... but surprisingly enough I was able to attend my first ever full BYU football game with Brad (unfortunately we lost).

So September has been treating me good so far. Hopefully I'll feel like blogging more regularly soon. We'll see.

I pretty much love the bunting you made; so pretty.
Sounds like a great month! I love the last pict.
Thanks for putting the cake ball recipe link on your blog. I have never heard of those, but now I am going to make them.
The chair looks great. I need to repaint my kitchen chairs. I like the idea of using spray paint instead of brushing the paint on.
The cake balls were amazing.
Also, I am BYU.
