Peanuts peanuts peanuts...

Brad is out of town (and the country) for work. He left on Monday. This is the stuff loneliness and crying episodes are made of (for me anyway). But I have found the silver lining... and have eaten it, over and over again. That silver lining is actually more of a tan-ish brown color and it is oh-so-delicious (and Brad is oh-so-allergic to it). My delicious lining: peanuts.

So far I have had:

  • peanut M&Ms
  • peanut butter M&Ms
  • no-bake cookies
  • Reese's peanut butter cup ice cream (thanks again Angelica!!!)
Still to come:
  • peanut butter toast (and lots of it!!)
  • more peanut butter cup ice cream
  • possibly more no-bake cookies
  • anything else peanut related I can get my hands on
So while I am terribly sad Brad is gone, I am also grateful I can pig-out on peanut butter to console myself.

If you have Five Guys around, go! Their food is the best. They serve raw peanuts and cook their fries in Peanut Oil. MMMMMM. It's a peanut-allergic's nightmare, and the opposite's dream come true. Enjoy! Glad you could find a P.P.P. :-)

That's fabulous! Man, I wish my husband were allergic to something other than hay that I could indulge myself in when he's out of town...

You're forgetting those peanut butter-chocolate crispies/scotch-a-roos (i don't know the actual name but here's a recipe for them: http://www.cooks.com/rec/doc/0,1713,158169-245200,00.html), and of course Reese's everything! Sorry Brad is away... I hate being with out my husband. I feel for you.
