Yesterday, I opened up my Flickr account, and what did I find? One Pretty Thing (aka a crafters paradise) had commented on a photo that I submitted to their flickr pool, telling me that they'd be linking to it on their next Flickr Friends Roundup! Excitedly, I checked their website, to make sure I wasn't imagining things. And I wasn't! Here is proof that I am now (basically) famous. See that earring display made out of an embroidery hoop? Yup. That's mine!
Also, I came across a button book yesterday (thanks Aunt Julie) that opened my eyes. If you think I am obsessed with buttons, think again. Check this out: The Button King. (I would post pictures, but he has copyright policies prohibiting that...)

There are some pretty fun things to make in those button books. I didn't get a chance to really look at them until yesterday. It helps me to look at those types of things to inspire more ideas.
