The other day, Brad and I were lucky enough to be able to spend an afternoon out with Katelyn. For her birthday (a few months back) we promised we'd take her out to lunch, to a place of her choice and we were finally able to go this past Tuesday. Kate wanted to get takeout at McDonald's and then to go to the park... and we were happy to oblige.

I loved chosing McDonald's as a kid; not gonna lie, there are definitely still times I choose it!

How fun! I love spending time at the park. I swear I'm always fighting off those pesky four year olds for a swing. I always win, of course, being 24 years older and 80 pounds heavier. Those suckers don't even stand a chance.
I meant 22 years older. No way am I 28. I'm not THAT old. I'm young and vivacious!

It looks like you guys definitely made Katelyn's day! We all need to go have a picnic sometime now that Melissa and Nate are back from wedding and honeymoon stuff.
