I'm so excited! Today I picked up the tickets to go to the Ingrid Michaelson concert (actually called the Hotel Cafe Tour) next Saturday! What makes it even better is that all of my sisters are going with me! It'll definitely make my birthday (which also happens to be next Saturday) a day to remember!
I'm also so excited that Spring is here! The weather has been beautiful lately and it's so fun to see flowers blooming. Here is a daffodil that bloomed just the other day outside in one of our little growboxes. So pretty!
Brad and I went shopping today (thanks Brad!) and I had a lot of fun (and Brad tolerated it well enough)! It made me laugh though when Brad found this treasure at DownEast. I'm glad I had my camera so we could tell Liz that apparently body suits are back, so we expect to see you wearing yours soon!

And to think that we left the store without that little treasure... I was pretty torn. ;)
And the daffodil is really neat, with three more on their way! And we didn't even have to plant them.
So I definitely remember wearing things like that back in the day only with fun early '90's patterns on them. That's probably one "treasure" that doesn't need to come back :)
Ah yes, the body suit! AKA the adult onesie! Those should be outlawed.
I wore the body suit back in the 70's when they first came in style. Clothing seems to go through a 15 to 20 year cycle (at least in women's clothing) so I guess it's about time for them again. I won't be wearing one though. Nice photo, Brad. I bet you and Jessica were laughing a lot with that one.
I can't wait to see Ingrid with you!
And Brad, that body suit looks like it might've fit you. Ewww, I know.
Body suits are back!! YAY!!! I'll be picking one up this week. Maybe I'll wear it for you on your birthday.
And it's not just the concert that's going to be memorable. It's the streaking we're going to do that's going to make next Saturday memorable! Bates' girl streak '08!!! Mom would be so proud.
Liz, haven't you heard? Mom's coming with us to the concert. No joke. So here's hoping she'll be proud :)
I am also excited for you and I'm sure you'll have a great time!
Brad. Wear it. Please.
Brad - don't cave to peer pressure. :)
