Postponing graduation

This semester, so far (yeah, I know we are only a week into it) has been one of many decisions for me. I've changed and rearranged my schedule so many times now and I think I have finally made some definite ones. I am now taking 3 classes, 2 of which are the last I need to graduate in April. But am I graduating in April? Probably not.

I have decided to become a Certified Family Life Educator and to do this I need 2 more classes and an internship. Now if I were a superwoman, who wasn't completely burned-out, taking all of these classes and an internship would all be possible this semester.

But alas, I'm tired and prone to stress these days. So the option of pushing back graduation another semester seems to fit the desire/need I have to survive the rest of the school year.

A great choice! I'm all for postponing the end of the college phase. :)

I love you and know that things are gonna work out just fine.

I admire you for doing what you're doing! You've gotten where you are by lots of hard work, sacrifice, and self-discipline. ;) I think you are very wise to set reasonable goals. Things will work out. You're in my prayers. I love you tons!

Jess, you are the best. Good luck with all you are going through. The college burnout phase is the worst. Keep plugging along. You'll get there. And then you'll have your WHOLE, LONG, WONDERFUL life to live. And you'll be glad that you didn't rush into (or out of) anything, but did the right thing for you. Love you! (If I could put my hand on your knee and give it a squeeze like Mom I would right now!)
