Stadium of Fire

Tonight I went to the Stadium of Fire with Brad, my friend Heidi, and my sister Maren and her adorable family. Brooks and Dunn headlined the show, along with Corbin Bleu (from Disney's High School Musical and Jump In). A few entertaining stunts were also performed by parachuter's and a rocketman along with a musical performance by Governor Huntsman's (and Brent Brown of Brent Brown Toyota) band.. sounds like a good time right (minus the Brooks and Dunn part... and the Corbin Bleu part)? Well, the man who made the evening (for me at least) was dear old Fred Willard. Yes, that's right, Fred Willard, the star (well, *a* star) of the amazing mockumentary films written and directed by Christopher Guest (and Eugene Levy).
For those of you who aren't acquainted with Mr. Willard's work, well, shame on you. I suggest you run out right now and not only purchase but watch A Mighty Wind or perhaps Waiting for Guffman--both of which enlighten and inspire a deep and abiding sense of loyalty to the comedic genius that is Fred Willard.

Ok, so it says that you posted that at 11:37, and I was with you at that time and the computer wasn't on. Something crazy's going on...

But yeah, Fred Willard was hilarious. He's a winner. Ludwig von Osmond... hehe.
